Over a thousand designs across tugs, fishing boats, trawler yachts and schooners, drawn latterly from a private island in British Columbia. Efficiency and seaworthiness over interior volume.

Edison Technical School, Seattle; more than 50 designs by the age of 24

Later life

Moved to Vancouver Island in the late 1960s; worked from Toad's Landing for over thirty years
